《烟囱里的麻雀》

故事发生在一所看似田园诗般恬淡的房子里，殊不知这是一口高压锅。无论是树林、阳光、草坪—— 自然界以一种不具侵略性的方式逐渐侵蚀人类的生活，这种侵蚀像是一种平衡，因为社会习俗和限制逐渐被人类残忍的本能取代。

崩塌的第一个迹象是一只困在壁炉里的麻雀 ，被女主人公 凯伦 即将进入青春期的小儿子放生，然而这个家庭没人能够侥幸逃脱。

当凯伦的妹妹一家三口抵达房子过周末时，凯伦例行公事般地和三人拥抱。作为女主人，凯伦即将目睹一堆糟心事，小儿子沉迷烹饪乃至虐猫，以对抗在学校受到的霸凌；

大女儿在外读书，和家庭成员之间已蒙上一层距离感；小女儿对母亲的敌意日益加深，她自诩为洛丽塔，对家庭充满恨意，渴望逃离，并正在探索自己的性欲。

这次聚会缘起于丈夫马库斯的生日，然而他意兴阑珊，只想安躺于邻居情人的床上。

所有人物出场之后，一场 契诃夫 式的戏码呼之欲出， 家庭这个通常被视为爱和支持的小团体成了压抑、控制和怨恨且难以摆脱的噩梦，凯伦亲眼看着自己的家庭分崩离析。

尽管影片的氛围令人感到幽闭，但空间比起前两部作品大了不少。

影片 现实主义 的部分，很容易叫人联想起理查德·耶茨的小说《 复活节游行 》；超现实主义的后半部分，则标志着他们试图以更丰富多彩的方式探索情感和身体的暴力。

在表现平平的一众2024年电影中，《烟囱里的麻雀》对人与人关系的微妙把握与狭小空间内的视听设计，令人眼前一亮。
